- Comments. If comments are open and you leave one, we store your name, email, IP address and comment. Comments are screened for spam by Akismet (Automattic Inc.). A comment stays until you ask us to delete it.
We do not run booking forms, take payments, build advertising profiles or sell personal data. Your reservation details are never sent to us.
2. Third-party services on our pages
- Google Fonts and Google Maps (Google LLC): fonts load from Google’s servers, and the map on some pages is a Google Maps embed. Google receives your IP address when these load.
- Trip.com. When you click “Check rates & availability”, you leave this site for Trip.com. It records that you arrived from this site and handles any booking, including your name, contact and payment details, under its own privacy policy, shown at its checkout.
3. Legal basis
We process data on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website and answering people who contact us, and on your consent where you choose to comment.
4. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to its use, by emailing [email protected]. We reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
5. Changes
If we add a tool that collects more data, such as analytics, we will update this page and the Cookie Policy before it goes live.
